Machinima Collaboration

Title: RED LASHES OF MARS

Creative collaboration between Tony Gerber (original music), Patrick Faith (3D environment) and David Goodwin (video producer/editor - a.k.a Stretch Mayo).

Location: LASHES OF EARTH, Second Life

The 3D environment was modeled, terraformed, textured and scripted by Patrick Faith, a virtual 3D terrain artist.

Tony, on his computer, visited  the environment, composed a set of basic music tracks and recorded them for me to edit by.

After my preliminary edit,Tony recorded guitar, synth parts and synth and percussive 'hits' to sync with the video.

I synced Tony's new music with a 2nd video edit, adding new scenes.
